In the year 2007, SBS Group reali-zed a need of teacher Education instit- ution for those who want to pursue their carrier as tutors of tomorrow and accordingly, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Education, Kairon Patti was established. Our B.Ed. course is well accepted and is popular as teaching skill development course inside and out- side Punjab. Infrastructure of the college was designed to provide a calm environment for development of the inherent potential of students and to fulfil their professional needs. The College has a magnificent building surrounded by lush green lawns providing an eccentric beauty. The laboratories like Science Lab, E.T. Lab, Language Lab, Sports Lab, Psychology Lab, Social Sciences Lab, and Computer Lab forms the technical backbone of the infrastructure. These are further supported by art & craft room, huge library, spacious classrooms and seminars-extension halls. College organises National & International seminars, conferences, extension lecturers and various other activities for educational, cultural, social, profession aI and persona I development of teacher educators. The products of this institution are well placed in various institutions and alumni students provide a grid to new generations about emerging opportunities as well as new challenges in the field of teacher education. The prime objective of the institution is to provide well trained teachers to the border/ rural belt of the state. The institution is working strenuously for value inculcation and personality development of the pupil teachers. Further the institution has a focused vision towards integration of modern technological advancements in classroom instructions.
